Easter Thank You!

I want to express my appreciation to all the parents and children that participated during the Easter Egg Hunt. I only received positive feedback from these great families which some of them were visiting St. James’ relatives. Additionally, my gratitude is extended to the following volunteers: Ms. Dotti, Ms. Liz, Mr. Benny who assisted me before and during the Egg Hunt monitoring the children. Finally, Ms. Angela (Nursery Attendant) for her support and to Hoppy Hopster (Bunny) for his charismatic performance, devoted love and patience playing with a few frightened children. Certainly, these individuals have a great heart! Blessing to all of you!

Episcopal Night at The Ballpark

We are planning an Episcopal Night at the Ballpark for May 6 at the Springfield Cardinals. The cost is $13 per person. I will need a count of who is going by April 20. I'll get the tickets and people can get me the money either in advance or at the door. We can work that out later.

I know Fr. Stuckey and Paula are planning to be with us, among others.

Hopefully, we can get a good group from St. James to join us.

A "Going Away" Picnic/Potluck for the Tharakan Family

Sunday, May 15 after the 10:30 service

Bring your favorite dish to share and join the St. James family in saying good-bye to Fr. Jos and Kimby, Gabriel, Asha, Owen and Amrit. They will be leaving our community for a new and excited adventure.

We will celebrate our graduates that day as well.

Mark your calendar and plan to celebrate our time together.

Outreach

This coming Sunday is the last day that we will collect funds to benefit the people of Ukraine. Please mark your gifts "Ukraine" We will add Sunday's offering to the Lenten and Easter offerings. Episcopal Relief and Development has established aid sites throughout Eastern Europe to help the Ukrainians escaping the war in Ukraine. Our gifts can make a difference.

Youth and Children Sunday School

This week is all about doubt...doubting Thomas that is! Let's give Thomas a helping hand in discovering faith. See you in Sunday School, 9:30 am for all ages.
